Can a Windows Vista computer get a virus?

Just asking. I haven't heard any big news about a virus for Vista.

Can a Windows Vista computer get a virus?free antivirus download

viruses are not unique to the operating system, just the platform. Macs don't normally get viruses because the platform and file system structure makes it difficult to write a batch file that will remotely do anything....a PC platform is more the norm and runs on the same basic core language and commands so its easier to write code for it. Regardless of the operating system, so Vista is just as vulnerable as windows XP or ME or 2000 or whatever, it does however have better protection so the likelihood that it will get infected is less, but not full-proof. You still have to be pro-active in defending your system by having an up to date anti-virus program, anti-spy and ad ware program as well *** keep track of security settings and surfing habits.

Yes
Yes, it can
Any computer can get a virus, no matter how much protection you have nothing is 100% safe, I have several protecters on my computer, what one may miss another may pick up.
Yes but, it is much safer then the current Mac OS. The current Mac OS has a promblem with it firewall. While windows Vista does not.
