viruses are generally DNA that are free floating. they don't live, so they are not considered as organisms. they reproduce by the means of infecting a cell and inserting their genetic code.

bacteria, however, are organisms where they multiply by dividing themselves. they infect greatly especially when they are in a large scale. they could also be killed by using antibiotics.

Viruses are smaller, and can't reproduce by themselves, they need to infect a cell and to paste its genetic material to the cell, so the cell copies it and makes the viruses. Viruses are generally round in shape and have molecules to stick to the cell walls and infect it.

Bacteriae are bigger, and reproduce by themselves. Their shape can be chained (streptococci), grapefruit (staphylococci) coma (vibrio) and rod (bacillus)
