I think i am having viruses which escan av cannot remove please help me?

in task manager processes im having like codeblocks.exe,crss.exe,5798.tmp,alg.exe n many more....plz help me.......

Just want to point out that the crss.exe is a normal process, In fact in Vista there are 2 of them,

Run your antivirus while in safe mode by restarting your computer and tap F-8 repeatedly during startup then a screen will show in black and you will select safe mode,, Once your in safe mode then run your antivirus,

u should not full format but just take nice %26 inproved anti virus ok later

You can download this SDAT file from McAfee and run it in DOS mode...This file is a little big.(about 40MB). but it will clean all viruses that McAfee has in its database till today..

Create a folder on your hdd ''C'' drive say for example ''scan''.. (without quotes)

Download the sdatxxxx.exe (xxxx is the update number example sdat5272.exe)file from the above URL and save it on your hdd in the scan folder created above.[if your PC is giving errors in downloading, you can download the same on your friends PC or on a PC in a Cyber cafe and copy the same on a pendrive and then copy the sdat5272.exe file to the scan directory]
