I have Vista Ultimate version installed on my computer but it doesnt run as smoothly as i would like it to be. Windows thinks that i have a good enough comp to use the aero theme but i dont want it. i can turn off transparency but i want it more dressed down. Is there any way that i can force vista basic themes with my ultimate version.

Go to Control Panel
Click on System Icon
in Advanced Tab - Find %26 Click in the Performance ''Setting'' Button
Select Adjust for Best Performance
Apply %26gt; OK
Also would be good to deselect some startup options in msconfig... so it would start faster but pls ask another question and dont forget to rate my answer as best :) Thank you
