Can I run both windows vista and windows xp on the same computer?

I won't be running them at the same time.

Yep. Just partition your drive off, set up a boot partiition, and it will prompt you to choose when you start the computer.

I may be doing just that tonight - I just got a new laptop and when I get home from work I'm going to determine if Vista Home Premium is going to cut the mustard, or if I'm going to either dual-boot, or just format and put XP on it.

I'm actually somewhat impressed with Vista so far. It is just the 32 bit version, and I was able to use XP drivers for my USB/MIDI keyboard.

That was the deciding factor towards keeping it for the time being. Report It

yes you can. there's two ways, wither you can get virtual pc by Microsoft, or you can get system commander. with VPC, you just cut a part of your hard drive and make it for the second os and run it. in SC, you have to redo your HD, and it dose the rest (but all your files are deleted.
dual boot them
sure. just put them on seperate hard drives as vista likes to break xp when upgrading.
